The Public Administrator serves the community by assisting the Jefferson County District Court Probate Division. Our office is appointed by the Courts to administer estates, trusts and guardian accounts. We are tasked with marshalling all assets in appointed cases. Often times we need to determine lawful heirs of an estate and contact those individuals. Ultimately our office files all necessary pleading, reports and motions with the Court.
